oooo dp2, more more how are you liking it. the dp2 shot incidentally is my least fave because of the straw cluttering the composition and for reasons of composition the second one would be my fave tho the flower in the first shot is also very puurdey

Hi Dominique, you have some very nice images of some very pretty flowers here. To my taste they need a little tighter cropping, hope that you do not mind, I did a couple they way I would have done them.

Take care,

Thank you for the comments.

I do not mind Heinrich when you try something else. The tighter cropping is looking a bit too tight to me.

Excellent flower photos...

Love the colors and sharpness of the subjects. And that is a trippy background in the sigma shot... Well done...

That DFA 100 is really showin' strong lately...

Thank you for all the comments.

Andreas: you had an additional question concerning the DP2. The Sigma DP2 produces very nice images, thanks to a large APS-C sensor and a very sharp 24mm/2.8 lens which can also produce pretty good bokeh. The camera is small. But the camera does also have weaknesses, its AF is really slow, the LCD screen is not really usable in full sunlight, and the biggest problem I have with this DP2 at the moment is that the firmware is apparently not finished. The DP2 does sporadically completely freeze, needing either to take out the battery, or to press the power button during 5 seconds. Sigma is said to be aware of the problem happening on some DP2 and are working on a new firmware. In three days, this DP2 showed 14 times more freezing than my *istD I am having since 2003...
