I'm excited. One of my first two submissions to PPG was accepted for the gallery, a shot from the deck of our boat shoving upwind in a stiff breeze taken a couple of years ago. Here's the link:

I would have posted the picture directly, but - ironically - we're currently staying aboard the subject of the photo, so I'm working from my laptop and don't have access to the file.

I don't know about luck, it is a fine image. And I would say, because the subject matter is very well known to you, I am sure more fine images will be forthcoming.

With all the boat pics you've posted, it's obvious that you know your subject and it's great that you've gotten some recognition (besides ours).

Thanks, everyone, for the very kind words. There's nothing quite like a displacement sailboat pushing hard upwind, and it was fun to capture the moment without dousing my camera with salt water!
