Went to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo last weekend and took these photos at their rainforest attraction. Lots of photo ops and the kids have so much fun during the visit.

All shots with K10D+DA 18-250mm

F8, 1/4s, ISO400, 100mm

F5.6, 1/25s, ISO400, 70mm

F5.6, 1/25s, ISO400, 155mm

F8, 1/10s, ISO800, 50mm

F6.3, 1/2s, ISO400, 155mm

Cheers

Fantastic!! I adore #2 image, they're all great though.

Am I right in thinkin' that the frog in the last image has the most amazin' red eyes? Its a shame you never caught him with 'em open.

Your images give me a great insight into how beautiful these frogs are. Keep 'em comin'.

Great frog shots--thanks. I think the last frog is a White's Tree Frog, not a "Red-Eyed Tree Frog" as the title suggests. I keep pet frogs in the house--awesome creatures and take little care.

Super series. I really like the way you've presented them as a digital folio. Very nicely done.

I actually waited for a few minutes if it would open its eyes but no luck. I could have taken more frog pics but the others are not clearly visible at all. Thanks.

Hi Jewelltrail, the label on its cage says it's a Red-Eyed Tree Frog. I took photos of each label so I won't forget it's name later on. They're really awesome as it's my first time to see them as well. Thanks.

I showed your frogs to my sister (who loves frogs) and she said she liked the green ones best and also said your photos are awesome!!

I think so too but I'm not a frog lover like she is.

Thanks for the nice words Photolady. They are the first frogs that I have taken myself and I can say that these are wonderful creatures to photograph.

The label is wrong. Here is a shot of a Red Eyed Tree frog:

Don't you just love frogs? There is something inherently appealing about them.

Love the series - thanks for sharing. I'm particularly impressed with the Madagascar Tomato Frog - now that one is quite unusual!

Cheers
