I saw Mr. Hyde's post a few days back and thought I'd share these. My little friend was camera shy and refused to face me head-on. Taken with K10d, single autofocus, Tamron 18-250 @250 mm. I think this kind of bee is commonly known as a Wood Borer; he would hover in front of me for a while, then speed off, then come back. We played this game for about 1/2 hour to get these shots.

I love the first one: the poor little bee flying to a huge blurred space. It seems we are seeing the same outlook than the bee in her daily life, looking for food. Brilliant!
