maybe i should have been a food photographer instead of a neuroscientist . . .

On this Memorial Day, I've spend about 5 hours in front of a microscope taking pictures of cells. However, when I got home this evening my wonderful roommate was grilling. I think that grilled asparagus is gorgeous, and much more fun to take pictures of than reactive astrocytes.

Nice shots. Makes me a little hungry actually.. my dinner was average tonight.

At least you are taking photos in some form or another for your work. I'm sure alot of people on here would envy that.

Very nice food shots! I am sure that the astrocytes won't resent being neglected for a few hours.

Ummm...tonight at my house it is:
  • Wild-caught Sockeye Salmon
  • Seasoned rice
  • Asparagus
  • Artichokes
I will have to post a few food pics!

I've taken more than my share of reactive astrocyte pics as well. On the plus side, I get to use Zeiss glass to do it

On the other hand, the asparagus certainly tastes much better! Nice shots, like the in close perspective.
