Hi all, hadn't posted any shots here for a while. Here some macros from a couple days ago:

Thanks for the comment. Sunlight is correct, these were shot outdoors under natural conditions. No flash.

Lady bird, not lady bug!!

Too noisy, even for these small images, lower iso and shoot a tad slower.

Thanks for the comments.

I know these as "lady bugs", but others know them as "lady birds" "lady beetles", etc..

Roentarre: Possible. I also had the sharpness setting on my *ist D set to high. Set to standard or low images come out quite soft.
