Great photos from a great lens. I'm still chasing my first butterfly for this year. I like #1 but both images are great.

Christos, excellent pair of images.

The first is stunnin'.
With the second it is so easy to mention a crop, but I think it works as an environmental shot like this.
The butterfly's back is turned on the unopened flower, kudos for not croppin'.

Thank you guys,

I had to get 1 or 2 cm close to the butterfly to shoot the first one... The second one is slightly cropped though…

Wow that a great shot, bright and crisp thats how I like it, I love the second shot too, altho even better if the other flower disappeared somehow, either by clone or by vertical crop, the shape of the flower the butterfly is sitting on is very nice
