Forks of the Credit river
Posted By: JMR, 05-26-2009, 06:37 PM

These were taken, of all places, in a Provincial Park known as the "Forks of the Credit River', where the river splits. I spotted these lilacs and ruins but never made it to the forks. My battery died and my replacement was uncharged, although I thought it was. So let that be a lesson to me and others! All straight out of the camera with contrast and brightness adjustments. The third image is in-camera multiple exposures while wind is blowing.

Wow, the zooming effect on that last one is something else!! I like it!

I wouldn't want to have been drinking or anything though - that's some serious eyeball action...

Thanks Marc. I had my drinks after I got home and saw how pleased I was with the outcome.

The last one prompted me to uncover one of my old '60's albums.

Interesting shot.

Thanks. I once took a licorice Beatles record (candy) when I was about 8 or so and tried to play it on a phonograph. When my folks discovered the needle no longer worked, I was nowhere to be seen.
