More Dog Agility (asked to come back in an official capacity)
Posted By: palmor, 05-27-2009, 05:36 AM

*Just my usual warning, that these aren't Pentax shots*

Hi everyone,
So we went to our second trial this year and of course I took a bunch of photos again . One possibly neat thing that came out of it (other then watching my wife and dog run of course) is that I may be going back to another trial at the venue in August to shoot the trial officially. This was this particular clubs 1st trial and they didn't have an official photog booked and they still didn't have one for their August trial so they asked me if I would do it. We'll see if things work out

Anyway, onto some agility photos. The rest can be seen here if you are interested Wag-It CPE, May 23-25, 2009 Photo Gallery by palmor at pbase.com

I just loved watching these Bearded Collies make their way through the course. Their coats make them look huge.

Trying to catch the dogs just as they come out of the tunnels is tough, but it is a blast trying to get them.

One more Bearded Collie.. my favorite subject of the weekend

Palmor,
Excellent shots of dogs in action. Nice and sharp and good exposure.

These are great shots. Assuming these are shot with continous auto-focus rather than a pre-set focus point (like I'd have to do), I can see why you had to switch systems. Impressive.

And what happy dogs ...

Nice shots. My dog sport is a little different than yours, but I alway appreciate seeing dogs work whether it be Schutzhund, Agility, Flyball, Hunting, etc.
