Two very strange birds from Saskatchewan....
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 05-27-2009, 06:59 PM

......Gotcha

Left on our roadtrip Yesterday morning, took these today in Chaplin, Saskatchewan. I won't be posting much for the next week or so, too many timelines besides this laptop is not the best. If color or contrast is bad please let me know.

Hi Lowell, they are way smaller than what they look on these pictures, nowhere near the Wawa goose in size. Your Wawa goose image looks a little dated, I'll be threre in a few days and will take a new one.

Take care

I see the fiberglass-statue kingpin of small-town Canada has struck again!

I like to imagine him going from town with his Panama hat, making his pitch to the mayor...

"Beautiful town you have here, just beautiful ... it's too bad noone stops for sightseeing now-a-days... (wipes at brow with pocket hankie)... sir, you know what would put your town on the map? A fifty-foot ____!"

Thank you Scott, they're not as big as they look here. They are located in front of the actually very good and interesting Nature Centre in Chaplin.

Take care

I'll have to admit that it was an easy shot as compared to most other bird shots.

Take care,

Take care,
