The Barossa Valley was settled by "refugees" from the Prussian empire in the mid 1800's, my family amongst them. The region has a very strong (& proud) european influence, they also make a half decent drop of wine
which I had much pleasure in sampling.

Sorry for not posting a vineyard, but it is very dry down there and its not looking its best.
Here is an earlier shot from another of South Australia's wine region, the McLaren Vales. This is taken in the Tapestry vineyard, another nice drop!!
