Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia
Posted By: ppeter, 05-28-2009, 04:40 PM

I went for a drive down to the Fleurieu Peninsula, near Adelaide on the weekend, hoping to capture the late afternoon sun on some of the beautiful rolling hills of the region, now starting to green up after recent rain. Not sure if I did the area justice but here are the results !
All taken with a K20D and Sigma 17-70 or DA55-300 and some post processing applied.

DA55-300 f4.5, 87mm iso 100

DA55-300, f4.5, 170mm iso 100

DA55-300 F4.5, 150mm iso100

17-70 f3.5, 31mm iso 100

17-70 f4.0 ,17mm,iso 100

17-70 f4.5 70mm iso 100

Thanks for looking.

I really like the lighting and shadows in these, particularly the first 3.
Late afternoon sun is my favourite condition for outside shots, particularly landscapes.

Well done, you give me something to aim for with WA (Western Australia) lanscape scenes

Great images!

Those hills never cease to amaze me. Shots 3 and 4 really hit the mark IMHO.

Well done! You've given me inspiration to go for a drive down there or Sellicks Hill.

Cheers

Thank you everyone for your comments, this area is a truly amazing place. I think I will have to return soon when I have more time to do justice to this special place.
