You know if you posed it just right you could make a heart shape with neck and chin....it's close in this shot...

Care to share the lighting technique?

I'm about to set up the "studio" in my parents garage (they'll be gone for 3 weeks) and was looking for some interesting ideas for this session. (I don't live with my parents, just happen to live a couple of miles away with my wife and 3 children).

"Studio" is....4 Photogenic monolights, several umbrellas and a single softbox.

This is will be the first serious session since purchasing the K20D last Dec. and getting the DA* 50-135mm recently....before that, used the DA Limited 70 f/2.4 exclusively for portraits....great lens, just needed more versatility.

Regards,
Terry

Very, very nice - great repeating heart motif. I see three or four...

Super B&W conversion, too. Willing to share any conversion pointers? I've tried a couple techniques, with varying success, and I'm always curious to know how others go about it. And how do you get nice skin texture??? I'm never very happy with the (admittedly few) portraits I take because of uneven skin texture and tone.

Wow again. Nicely done.
