Very, very nice shots...they couldn't get any better.

I also got a nice shot of a full moon, *ist D, A400 F5.6, ISO 400, 2 2x teleconverters:

Perhaps it's a bit too bright though- but just a bit

Very nice. It's hard to compete with some of the wonderful shots that have already been made. I mean, the mooon looks exactly the same all the time (well it evolves but you get the picture.

If you grayscale your image I think the little noise you have will disappear as well. You can always add a little colour later. The A400 looks like a great lens as well.

Nice pictures!
Here is one of mine. I took it in July after I had just received my Vivitar 120-600mm lens.

intresting.

Here's 1 that I took Sept 6th

Believe it or not there was no editing (except a crop) involved.
There's a lot of smoke around here the last while due to the forest fires, which have given me some incredable sunsets, sunrises and this 1 good moon shot
Taken on my k100D, with a 30+ year old zoom

Excellent shots Speedie and RedHawk. I gave the moon a try mid last week but not satisfied. Overexposed by quite a bit.

It's good to notice that Adam and RedHawk are istD owners like myself. Maybe finally I can learn a bit more about the D - more camera-specific.
