design faux pas

Wonderful photographs of a difficult subject. Any Auto shot is prone to blown highlights in the glass and chrome - you've handled that well.

What an interesting car - shame that Hudson didn't sell enough to compete with the big three. Of course none of the three is big any more.

there were many stunning classics at this event (concours d'elegance, fort adams, newport r.i. usa).... when out of the corner of my eye, i saw this most curious design... i have never seen anything quite like it... the rear 'rocket' tubes are quite the accent......

Whew . . . . that sucker is ugly! But you certainly captured the look (such as it is).

Do you suppose these guys "helped" Ford with Edsel, as well?

Actually it's kind of interesting. And I wish I had an Edsel. They're going for a lot more now than when new.

interesting yes, but still ugly. very bad design elements. none of which really flow or work well together.

Ugly perhpas - certainly a conversation starter as in what the heck was that. Love the chrome pipes on the rear quater panels
