After months of planning and anticipation, my hike along the Na Pali coast of Kauai came to fruition. Below are some images I took during my stay in paradise. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend a visit to this beach, preferably by foot. Even if you think you don't "have the chance" I would suggest finding room in your schedule/budget. In case you are not familiar with the Kalalau valley, I have included a link to the Wikipedia page:

All images were taken with a Pentax k100d and either 10-20mm Sigma or 18-55mm Pentax. Circular polarizer and 3stop soft ND filter were used with the Sigma when needed. Post processing was performed using Lightroom 2.
Lets get this hike started. Sunrise at Ke'e Beach, the trail head.

The hike gets a bit tricky in some places. Some parts of the trail are roughly 6" wide, including over this part.

Not a bad campsite.

Sick of the sun? Try rock stacking. Some were 7 rocks high, vertically stacked.

Some of my favorite shots from the beach.
