Hare's-tail Cottongrass

Went to local swamp and photographed some cottongrass on saturday.
The light was so hard and the photos looked so dull.
Decided to give a good punch for the photos and the results are here:

Gotta go there sometime at the sunrise to photograph these in a more beautiful light.

imo the "punch" worked very well, maybe a bit cropping on the first one but Id say it was a successfull transformation

#2 is a great shot.

I can imagine this on a wall somewhere...er your house, maybe.

Nice PP looks like it was windy as well - I hate that been windy here for days as well.

Yes Joni, harsh light is a problem for plant shots, but you have done very well with these two.
