Wild flowers (and more) with the SMC-Takumar macro 50/4
Posted By: Rense, 06-05-2009, 01:37 PM

The SMC-Takumar macro 50/4 is my favorite lens for shooting flowers and plants. It's so very versatile, and it gives you the oportunity to come really close. Okay, it does only 1:2, but this is often enough for shooting flowers. And as a general walk around lens, this oldie works very well...for me at least.

These are shots, made in one of the military areas I work at. I hope you like them .

I definitely like the angle you took on that first shot. After so many flower pics this Spring I will remember that one. Of course everbody loves a big fuzzy caterpiller!

The angle on #1 indeed makes it stand out from the crowd. Is that tank being used for target practice?
