Additional shots from the wife!
Posted By: GLThorne, 04-25-2007, 09:13 PM

As many of you have read my first thread about my wife's desire to take over my K100D, you should know that after I passed on the very nice and positive comments to her, of which she was most thankful for, she's decided it was time to step it up some, per say. So,.....

First attempt at birds...

First attempt at a natural light object...

First attempt at son/puppy portrait in natural light...

First attempt at close up of flowers...

And her first attempt at a flying insect (SHE HATES BUGS) up close and personal! We call these Hummingbird Moths because if their fan shaped tail and the fact that they hover from each flower....

Like others have said Greg, a natural! Great captures, I'm especially impressed with the humming bird moth shots, those are pretty tricky!

If you've got that second body, it's easy - just grab the lens she is reaching for before she does and bolt it on your camera. Then, depending on how your wife takes it, rub it in a little by taking a dozen great shots. You'll have "discussions" (quick or lengthy), and eventually (ymmv) she will want her own set of lenses

By the way, great shots!

Thanks guys. She just let me dump a good bit into the yard and additional landscaping so any new lenses will have to wait. Please, no stone throwing!!
