A few landscapes from Holy Ghost

Challenging lighting in some of these (leading to lots of LR2.0 GND filtering), but mostly very friendly conditions. I particularly like the, um... verticality of the two portrait format ones--the depth in the first and the sky in the second.

Again, DA 70, 35, and 21 primes:

Looks like some lovely spring/summer weather - wish I was there!
All good shots - not sure which is my favorite though

My favorite is #2 I like the human element on the image.

I saw the title say "Holy Ghost" and I pictured exactly what you captured. Growing up in SF, I guess its one of those things that gets burned in my brain. Beautiful place and well captured shots. Thanks for the trip back down memory lane. =)

Glad I could bring it back to you. Probably my favorite hike around here (except maybe East River in the Jemez).

Yes it is for sure wonderful up there too. There use to be hot springs in the Jemez mountains. Now those were gorgeous!

Still are! And of course there's Valles Caldera.

I need to get up there sometime this summer.
