What I see at work, lots of fires.
Posted By: ryan in texas, 06-08-2009, 07:43 PM

I am a full time insurance adjuster in Houston. I spend most of my days digging through fires like these. Nothing artistic about these, just people who have lost everything. It's challenging taking photos of pitch black rooms. The windows are usually covered in smoke and you can see most things turn black.

Normally I just use my trusty p/s, but am starting to use the *ist more often. It's just hard to keep it clean in a sooty house fire.

Hah, you think its tough taking pics in those burned out houses and buildings. Try dragging a charged hoseline in when its 800 to 1200 degrees in there !! Sorry retired FF here !
