one lump or two?

#1 - sugar cubes placed in big chilled wine glass
#2 - pocket watch placed atop cubes in glass

Lens - Lester A. Dine 105mm macro and my *istDS

I like the first shot, with it's simplicity, curve of glass and the crystalized cubes. The second one with the watch is a bit too busy for me. The watch by itself I think would have made a good shot, elegant and worldly; but the two together overwhelm each other.
