I decided to try my hand at dragonfly's today

They are pretty good, especially the 2nd and 3rd. The 3rd is surreal; the direction of the dragonfly and petal work wonderfully together, giving the image a dynamic quality while at the same time being softened by the colour and roundness of the petal. Unfortunately the last image is soft, probably due to the movement of the subject.

Nicely done, well captured.
Just want to point out that #1 and #3 are damselflies. They are distinguishable by the fact that they fold their wings when stationary.

Thank you... I wasn't sure what they were.

I also tried shooting some Bee's.

you did capture some nice shots.... the last 2 especially... maybe a litter tighter crop on the last one....
you're lucky, i was chasing bees around yesterday til i was dizzy...........
the little buggers would not just sit still for my pentax... what nerve...
