Some of my better photos
Posted By: photolady95, 06-13-2009, 01:15 PM

Thought I'd load some I have taken before I bought this lens.

Yeah, great to see these too! The last one was accepted in the PPG, wasn't it? I think I've seen it in your collection there .

Nice ones.
A little soft, but that looks more like a JPG compression softness than true image softness.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Rense. Yes that one is PPG but I have others there now too. Soon as I get time to scan some more I'll be posting both places. These photos even though I uploaded them to PPG are not yet in their main home page, just in the link below. The photos say "Ready for Review" which I have no idea what that means, this being the first time I have posted my photos on the web.

Thanks for the comments as well Ash.
I would assume that softness is because of jpg compression. Doesn't this forum further compress uploaded photos?

Wonderful shots really like the last one. The gull shot lools like it lost a lot of shaprness in the download.

Thanks Dave appreciate the comments. I do not know what happened to that gull. It looks sharp after scanned in.

Beautiful shots, photolady, although I would like to see better quality photos. These have JPEG artifacts all over due to resizing.

Thanks Zeno. As for the artifacts, I don't see them on my computer. And they're saved at 600DPI. Must be your video card.

Thanks roentarre for the nice compliment.
