Fisheye Bridge
Posted By: J.Scott, 06-13-2009, 03:04 PM

Just having a bit of fun with the Fisheye lens on converging lines.

I love bending taut steel cables.

Looking up one of the support strands.

...What it is...

Thanks Scott. The bridge is totally sound viewed through non-fisheyes!
It is actually quite an accomplishment and took buckets of money and some clever engineering; and all for snowmobiles! Previously, the only way across the mighty French River was via the car bridge which was fraught with danger.

Great use of the FE.
Converging and BENDING lines. Adds more interest to the photo.

Yeah, I took some 'regular' pictures but they put me to sleep just reviewing them on the camera. Suddenly the light bulb lit and I grabbed the fisheye for a different perspective.

I'm sure we're bound to find out if we look it up in a dictionary.
Thanks for commenting, Dave.

Notice something odd about the sign picture?

First off, it is in English only and secondly, uses Imperial measurements rather than the Canadian standard of metric.

Most odd for this country.
