Snowy egret

Lots of Great Egrets around, but the snowy ones are not quite as common. Been trying to add one to my collection for a while now.

Fun shots! I love photos of animals that appear to be deeply contemplating life, their place in the universe... or maybe just where to go for lunch!

Thanks! I do like the first one best too, just wanted to include one showing a little more of the bird. My favorites tend to be the ones where you can sort of picture them doing something "human".

Great shots. I am still chasing any egret, they all fly away to quickly. Like the color of its feet, it looks very unique.

Yeah, the Egrets (both Great and Snowy) tend to be far more skittish than the Herons around here. I found that hunkering down low and scooting/crawling towards them tends to get you a LOT closer before they bail.
