I took the 50mm f1.7 out for a proper test drive this morning...very pleased with the results although it's hard to get the focus right for subjects that are more than about a metre away.
Anyway, I thought I'd post some of the results, starting with some nice examples of the Bokeh this lens produces:

Bokeh on #1 is very nice and I like the composition on the last one.
