The 55mm f/1.8 in M42 and K-guise are very understated lenses.
Seeing as the M42 version was actually a "kit lens" (and I know how much you love the kit lens) ... it actually can produce some stunning images.

You are absolutely right there. I have a chance to get the M42 mount version as well, and I'm sure tempted. I just don't know if it's coated, however that doesn't mater much to me.
