Strobist Meet
Posted By: cupic, 06-16-2009, 04:12 PM

On the weekend pasted I got involved with a strobist meet and love the way that flash can be used in a variety of artist ways, great models gave up time for prints and if I learned only 25% it was worth it

Good job! The 2nd one's lighting is a little bit stark(?) for me but otherwise some really good shots.

Cool stuff.
Great results there.
How did you diffuse the off camera flash for these shots?

Mother nature helped me diffuse as the conditions where cloudy raining and windy.A few of the strobist let us use/help with the equipment, huge 28" flash deflectors(Hope I use the right terminology) enough power to turn day into night.Still learning

They are really good Ivan, I think you got more than 25% out of it.

I'll echo the Brit. I'm enjoying seeing your photography improving all the time Ivan. I'd think that a K7 will improve things even further...

These look very well done to me. Is strobist a new word - I've never heard it (although the meaning is pretty clear) until the last few days when people started posting "strobist" images. I like 'em and I like yours.
