Pushing the Processing
Posted By: ppeter, 06-17-2009, 04:28 PM

I rencenty downloaded some free Lightroom presets off the net and experimented with some recent photos. I mainly used presets designed to add punch and / or enhance the sky, well some worked and some didn't ! Here are some of the better results.

Thanks for looking.

I really like those effects, especially on the 3rd one.
The waves just reach out and grab you, don't they?

Presets are fun! Care to share which ones they were, and where you got them?

Hi Krypticide, the presets used in most of these were called " Gritty Exosure " and " Gritty Lomoish Contrast "
I downloaded them from this site but unfortuneately I can not remember exactly which link.

nice series.... really like these effects... not too overpowering
but definitely brings more attention to the pics...
adds 'oomph' to what are already nice compositions....

#3 works the best for me, the dramatic sky fits with the rocks and waves.
