My baby blade
Posted By: fractal, 06-18-2009, 06:26 AM

Had a chance to take it out this morning and get some shots of it. Being a 250cc it's not all that fast as far as bikes go but its the noise that it makes that really spells its beauty. The rev limiter will kick in at 18,500 rpms.

Taken at one of the lookouts around the Dandenong ranges. The bike is hard to flaw but please let me know if i have gone overboard with the PP. Thanks.

I like this series, Carl - especially numbers 2, 4 and 5. I haven't owned a bike since '77 so I don't that world any more, but yours looks like a good 'un.

You probably could've done with some fill light on the first shot, the car in the background and the green part of the building is a bit distracting in #3, but I really like the conversions you've done for #4 and #5, and that, coupled with the nice low angle makes #5 my pick.

I dig the 2nd last image. Good angle there.

Hey Carl, the colour ones don't do much for me but I like the conversions, especially the second one, those blown highlights act as lighting for the bike.

Yeah i did have a few shots very overexposed that wouldn't have worked in colour.

Thanks all for the comments and opinions.
