Nice shots!

How do you like your 55-300? (I bought one recently -- and managed to sneeze right into the sensor soon thereafter. Duh. Got to cleaned, but haven't had much of an opportunity to try out the lens since then.)

Nice shots Denis. The 55-300 has got to be one of the best values for money out there for a new lens.

Clever use of this fine consumer lens.
And excellent arrangement of subject matter and lighting here.
Thanks for sharing Denis.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
The lens fulfills it's role as a consumer grade long tele well.
Sharpness is good but in high contrast shooting, CA is there.

A much better alternative is the DA* 60-250mm... just so much better than this but obviously at a higher price point.

Dennis, Love both shots and the great poses you captured with the backlighting. The lens did fine.

Can I be picky? (It's so easy to critique other peoples stuff )
with the first shot there seem to be a thread or something on her leg and a couple of darker skin patches. Maybe do a little cloning and touch ups to those. She has a great look and these seem a little distracting.
