So I snapped one today:

Quick snap, backlit, bleh. *istDL / Sigma 70-300 non-APO @ 240mm, f/9.5, 1/500, ISO200 handheld.

Low contrast is the fault of the horribly hot, humid and hazy day we had today (roughly typical for Alabama in the summertime)

interesting boat, I'm used to ocean/harbor tugs and this is a river tug!

It is an interesting looking vessel. It pushes/pulls barges?

The low contrast is something you can do about with PP. I took the liberty of quickly adjusting a few things in Lightroom to bring the shadow detail. This was mostly adjusting tones, and then fill light (in the quick edit panel)
