(And a bonus egret!)

Found a nice spot to go shooting, will return in much better light, but for now..

just a suggestion here, but you should invest in a good bird book

the Sibley Guide to birds is about the best.

As for identities, no one seems to have picked up that the first photo you show is not an Ibis but a Great Egret,

The last one is a Cattle Egret.

Lowell: you are right.

I just have a very basic guide and it's fairly useless as far as finding the right bird... I'll check out the Sibley one.

And yeah, the first one was the "bonus egret" -- I didn't know the last one was a cattle egret until somebody else pointed it out on FM.
