had to crop quite heavily..

thanks everyone, yup these were with the K20D and tamron 90mm.

will try again if a similar opportunity presents itself, try to get closer so that i don't have to crop so much.

Woe..excellent work. Did you use flash or is that natural sunlight highlights?

i think it was mostly flash (wings frozen in last few photos), but in the first few with pink flowers, the sunlight was much brighter so you can see the blurred wings and tongue in the first shot.
