Some macros w/ a beta K-7 camera (imgs)
Posted By: frank, 06-22-2009, 01:42 AM

Went to the Botanic Garden w/ several Pentaxians w/ a pre-production K-7 camera, took some macros. Here are some of them. All taken w/ A100/2.8 macro w/ flash. Post processed as I usually do (level/curve adjustment).

Hope you like some of them

Cheers!

Awesome shots, Frank!

I have a question. Comparing to the K-7 macro I posted some days ago ( https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/637308-post46.html ), your shots have much more vibrant colors. Where does it come from? Is this out of cam, is it the lens, your postprocessing or just that lighting was so much different?

I was wondering this too. Colours seem overly hyped.

All of Frank's K-7 shots so far have been quite saturated. I think that's just how he likes 'em, and I seem to recall him saying it was PP. (Could be wrong, though!)

Yes, I did some level adjustment, and then applied a bit curve to enhance the photos. Maybe I over done a bit, but I kinda like the saturated colors for macros
