Take a Bite Out of Time

A prehistoric saber-toothed cat skull (Brazosport Museum of Natural Science) shot with K20D and DA 70 at ISO 800.

That is one mouth to stay away from. glad he is not longer with us. Like the coloring on the skull.

Make that three for it being extinct. Sure wouldn't want to meet him/her in a dark alley.

Wow, those are definitely a nasty set of teeth.... It amazes me how (not so long ago) we had these amazing animals. Too bad we couldn't photograph them today (in safety of course). Imagine those images!!
