A male Purple Finch in full breeding plumage.

A male Goldfinch starting to get his colour.

A mink that I called in, almost to my feet. Love those beady eyes and pink noses!

Judging from the contrast & rich colors he's probably using the F/FA300 or F/FA300+teleconverter.

Great photos, I like the 2nd one the best.

Hi Tom!

The only words I can think of to describe these simple 'Three from Today' is WOW! The mink deserves 3 Wows all by itself. He's SO cute and your picture is ...Wow!

The bird pictures are sharp as a tack - simply beautiful! The mink looks mischevious. I like them all - good job!

Hi Tom. Such a rich colour from these finches. Fa 300 f4.5 is surely well utilised in your capable hands.

The yellow finch is my favorite

Yes, the lens is the FA*300. It does all the work for me

. No TC on these.

Calling a mink is simple- you just make loud squealy noises by using your mouth and the back of your hand- sort of like phony kissing sounds , but much more intense...
