Burrowing Owls

I heard about Burrowing Owls with nests in a park in Hollywood, Florida. Today I went to Brian Piccolo Park to check it out. I found eleven burows, four of which I saw Owls hanging around.

K20D, Sigma 150 500mm.

Tried shorter lens but the birds were too wary.

1 - Owl family
2 - Owl juviniles
3 - Owl adult looking out of burrow
4 - Owl adult on pipe
5 - Owl adult portrait

They are such fun little birds!

I like #2 the best.
