Near gothic church of melbourne (fa31 ltd shots)
Posted By: roentarre, 11-04-2006, 05:13 AM

Whooo, just finished my 72 hours straight on call for work. Got some shots from last weekend, walking around melbourne church.

Fa31/1.8 is a really really nice lens. The colour is more punchy, standing out and impeccable. I got a silver one btw.

1/180s f/9.5 at 31.0mm iso200 full exif

1/250s f/9.5 at 31.0mm iso200 full exif

1/250s f/2.4 at 31.0mm iso200 full exif

Thanks for looking!

For some reason I can only see the third shot, but I love the excellent color of the purple flower. More impressive is the detail of that individual flower.

I see a Church, a Statue, and the flowers.
Are there any missed pictures?

After some juggling I got all pics to show.
In my humble opinion the 31/1.8 is the nicest lens Pentax ever made. Color and bokeh doesn't get any better. And the 3D effect!

I see all of them! They are beautiful, however I also looked at your stuff on Pbase as well. Very very nice work. In this batch, I personally love the crown of thorns against that rich blue.

Thanks all. I just got told by Joele about how to post the pictures properly from pbase on the phone. He is on the way back from Tumid near the arid dry part of victorian border of Australia. Waiting to see his photos!

fa31/1.8 is really a great lens and i am not sure why it really stands out. I basicly did no post processing whatsoever and most of the time is all about composition only.

I am so glad that all the lenses i had purchased so far with pentax series are all keepers!
