My favourite, the Super Takumar 85 f1.9 got most of the action. I had a few wider lenses with me but they were useless after a couple of minutes due to the wind, rain and spray. The 85 has a deep hood....

Check out the madman in the boat on the last one...
There is a load more in my smugmug gallery under in the Places folder, much nicer in original size I think! ;-)

I'll crew on that boat - my insurance is paid up.

Seriously, I love these shots - a misty and ominous vision of the sea.

just another thought....Id bet those photos would look cool too, if you put them thru a lomo type filter and ran some high pass on them for a surreal effect.

I went around Fastnet Rock with my uncle in a speedboat years and years ago. That guy in the boat was having the time of his life I bet... Still mad though

Looks nice - but so does the original. No use fixing something that ain't broken.

Agree Thanks for compliment. That's exactly how it looked at the time.
Still learning though and know absolutely nothing about p/p stuff. Generally speaking I am trying to be part of 'getting it right while taking the shot' school and not the 'fix it afterwards' school. Saying that I can see where Niki is coming from and if you have a good base to start with why not?
