My Favorite spot to shoot
Posted By: Jimbo, 06-29-2009, 05:06 PM

Seen that the clouds were forming around the mountains so I decided to get a short drive to my favorite location. Most who look at my images will know this location well. JIM

Did something similar to that on the last image. I first placed a polyerized filter on and then a ND8 over that to bring out the sky while maintaining the foreground brightness. I may try your suggestions next to see the difference. Thank you for commenting. JIM

Thank you. So many different opportunaties here depending on weather and time of year. When a strom passes, I head straight out to catch the light as the sun breaks. Appreciate you looking. JIM

Wow. I spent a long time just staring at these 3 new shots of the spot even I recognize by now. Really nice stuff. #2 looks like a perfect painting half the time I glance at it.

Jim - I have not yet printed the pic we discussed as I can't crop and print to the large size I envisioned. Taking it with me to print shop this week to see just what I CAN do.

Nice shots Jimbo.
I really like the reflections on the water in the second image.

You live in a really beautiful area of BC.
