Garden Falls

A small falls in High Park Toronto. The blue cast is unavoidable and I have already removed quite bit, as the shot was taken at dusk somewhere around 10 or more seconds. Besides, I like the blue cast.

Wow J', I really like the last image. I would love to see it split-toned too. Do you know what kind of tree this is?

Thanks Pauly. Not sure of the tree, I am going to look it up, but is an ornamental tree and hangs like a Willow. The veins (branches), as I like to call them, are so fetching and that they draw you in. I guess you can tell I like trees! Not really sure what split tone is and I don't think I have tried it. Is that the same as mixing BW with Sepia? Nevertheless, in honor of all tree lovers, I will add add a few more.

It always feels good when I try to capture subjects with some feeling and people recognize it, so thank you Sailor!

The last one is my favourite

Looks just like a painting :ugh:

The softness adds on to the mysterious mood :ugh:

I love it

J', my 'Woe & Wonder' image which you commented on has been split-toned.

Basically its one colour tone for the shadows and a different colour tone for the highlights.

I should have known you would pick the squirrel. He stumbled into my photo. I wasn't ready or I would have shot him in the lower third. Thanks Gary!

Thanks for the explanation. I don't think it would work for my photo because my notes show the image to be an in-camera double exposure.
