Turtles, dragonflies, and herons, oh my!
Posted By: SailorsKid, 07-02-2009, 07:09 AM

Hello Everyone!

I am currently in Texas visiting my parents for a week, and my dad and I went to go take pictures yesterday at out local aquarium/hatchery where there are sometimes animals outside. I had a particularly lucky day, and managed to capture a heron, dragonfly, and also a couple of turtles lounging on rocks.

Hey Robin, that Yellow Crowned Night Heron is a pretty bird, no question!

Nice touch with the dragonfly in the turtle shot... Thanks for sharing these.
