Wonderful series. Number one and two are my favorites. I have my fly rod ready and in shot number two you can almost hear that young voice calling out "SHANE...."!

Was there 11 years ago and these bring it all back. Love the first one. The morning (?) light is amazing.

I totally agree about the morning light. It really makes #2 work.

Did you have to fight for space at the barn?

There was at least 10 photogs when I went past there at first light last year in July

Hey thanks much for the kind replies.

We were in Yellowstone and the Tetons for about 10 days. Got up around 4 a.m. almost every day to catch the "good light" photo ops. Both the barns and Oxbow Bend had more than a few fellow photographers just as crazy to get those early morning shots.

The family thinks I'm nuts for getting up so early -

Beats anything Ansel ever did. Love it. Especially the bison (buffalo?) pano.

I do, however, have the urge to just go up to that shack and push on it.
