for a hike. Look up, look down. The weather was perfect and at this altitude the flowers were starting.

C&C appreciated.

Great shots Clarence, it that a road/path in the first shot? It must be late because my poor old brain can't quite figure it out. Great sky! And your flower shots are beautiful as always.

All but #3. Perhaps it has too much contrast. Great set!

That is a road in our foothills, though not an official one but one created by rambuncious 4X4 drivers who think getting their vehicle over a mountain is a real display of manly prowessness. Have only seen a few vehicles over the years but have found lots of broken and undone mechnical parts while hiking these same 'roads'.

Absolutely beautiful, Clarence! I'm headed out to Arizona in June for 10 days for some hiking and "fun with nature"... I can't imagine waking up with that vista every day.
Great pics... thanks for sharing them.

Indeed it was!

Hi Clarence!

It was a beautiful day and you're pictures did a great job showing how beautiful!! Love the colors. My favorite is the last one, simply because of the background out of focus area. Cool effect there.
