A series of four seasons
Posted By: bdery, 07-08-2009, 03:15 PM

Last Fall, I started a series of pictures that I only just completed. The challenge was to take the same picture at four different times during the year. Each picture is to be representative of one of the four seasons.

My challenge is now completed. these four pictures are now framed and decorate a wall in my house. I stitched them together and show them to you here:

For the record, I plan on doing it again, but with a tree in a field as my subject. I just found the tree last week, so it starts again soon!

Great effort

The concept can't be faulted

If only it's your home or something more personal

Just my own thoughts :ugh:

Nice. I really have to work on getting back to the same spots at specific times of year, I would love to do a little project like this.

Oh, man! You remind me why I really should follow through and do this. I love it! I've wanted to for a while. I have Warren Kimble's Four Seasons prints (sample: Amazon.com: Framed Four Seasons Warren Kimble Prints Pictures: Kitchen & Dining) and I've wanted to produce my own.

Kudos for your patience and execution!!

Nice work, although I find the subject a bit... uninspiring ?

By the way, I too have been meaning to do something similar with a landscape not far from my home.

Thanks for all the comments. I selected this subject because it shows a field, trees, and something man-made. As I wrote, I want to do the same with a tree alone in a field but had not found one until recently. I can also add that when these pictures are well-framed 8x10 they look much better, of course
