And that would be rust on the disc?

Cast iron Brembo disc rust, which means the next ride removes all pitting and grooves on the disc.
I suppose I'll have to post pics of my old and not ridden for a few years XJ900 sometime and show off very rusty discs.

Moto Guzzi!

A Moto Guzzi!

My first and only streebike is a '98 Moto Guzzi V10 Centauro (see recent track day photos attached) so every time I see those Guzzi "jugs" stick out in a proper 90 degree V, my knees get all wobbly. The Ducati bikes and their 90 degree V that I typically ride with don't quite do it for me.

Nice photo of the LeMans. Shows off both the narrowness of the bike and the beauty of the motor.

Regards,
Terry

Thanks. Wanna trade your LeMans for it?

Actually, I've thought about selling/trading the Centauro for other bikes but I keep coming back to that wonderful 4v motor on the Centauro....and the handling...and the riding position...and.... Who am I kidding, I'll never get rid of that bike!

Regards,
Terry

Not my Le Mans unfortunately, just one I spotted in my travels. Do have a rather unloved XJ900 that hasn't been used for a few years, will that do?
