The Curonian Spit
Posted By: gawan, 07-11-2009, 08:39 AM

After a few very busy weeks in work I finally made it to holiday, spent a week in the Baltic states - specially in the Curonian Spit. This area is a must to photographers visiting Lithuania! I am glad to be back in the forum again!

Thanks, I was two nights in Klaipeda and made a day trip to the Neringa, the spit. I wish I can do a longer holiday again someday and stay at Nida, closer to the dunes! You have a beautiful country indeed!

Georg, nice to have you back !

Nice series, great to see something from the other side of Europe. Never been to Lithuania, want to. I like the once-a-boat one!

Georg - very enjoyable images of a part of the world I've never seen. I particularly like numbers 3 and 4.

And there was me thinking I was going to be seeing pictures of some strange and obscure Finnish custom Georg.

Nevertheless, I appreciate you showing a part of the world most of us have never heard of.
