Flowers, typewriter, fence and peacock..
Posted By: ll_coffee_lP, 07-12-2009, 02:47 PM

Thought I'd share a few assorted shots that I finally got around to processing this weekend (my girls are a bit under the weather and ended up having a rare afternoon nap today).

The daisy shot (I think that's what they are) compliments of my new K-7 (taken w 77ltd), the remainder by K10. I'm really loving the new ergonomics of the K-7

CC/comments are welcome.

These are all beautiful shots. The typewriter macro is wonderful.

Thanks for the feedback scott-devon!

The typewriter shot is actually a little oversharpened in this image. I did my normal sharpening to it, as well as, sharpening for the web. Typically I would only sharpen for the web for images that I post because of the size reduction.

The white "globs" behind the letter arms are actually the keys of the typewriter. At this distance (taken with Sigma 70) they became very abstract.

Thanks for the kind comments Oren and Gawan! I'm actually going to go back to the raw file for the typewriter and give it a go in LR2.4 (downloaded the trial last night). There's some changes that I want to make to it that I'm struggling with in CS2 (my photoshop knowledge is pretty limited) and I've heard that using masks in LR is much simpler.

By the way...it's good to see you back Gawan. It's been a while since I've seen you post. Hopefully things are well your way.

Nice work, especially like the fence shot.
